Some time ago a local pastor had heart surgery and needed assistance.  I stepped in and took over much of the pastoral duties at Waldorf Community Church which included conducting my first funeral (funny story for another time.)

Current member of the NRA, and St Charles Sportsman Club
Past President of Hughesville Baseball and Softball Association, and Central Maryland Corsairs Squadron Booster Club.
I was born and raised as a Democrat, always being told the Democrats were the party of the working man.
But after watching the 1976 Democrat Convention, surviving the Carter Administration, and becoming politically active in the Carpenters Union, I saw something different.
That's when I became a Republican.
It appeared to me the Democrats were more concerned with creating excuses for bad behavior, and creating a dependent class of citizens, than helping the working man, such as myself, become empowered.
I believe in empowering men and women through meaningful employment, the best social program is a job.
Bill has been a resident of Maryland all his life and a Charles County resident for more than 30 years. He is happily married to his wife Julie. Together, they have eight children. Henry Thompson

Born and raised in Charles County, Marcus Washington has seen change first hand. He’s seen what can be accomplished when our community bands together and works toward a common goal. No matter where he finds himself, he will proudly boast about living and thriving in Waldorf, MD. Over the past 4 years he has worked in Mental Health. He currently manages an outpatient mental health center in Waldorf and there is no greater joy than serving our community through public service.
Marcus serves not only as a member of the Professional Association of Healthcare Office Management (PAHCOM), but also as the PAHCOM Rockville Chapter Treasurer. In response to the opioid crisis, Marcus made it his mission to become an overdose response trainer. He wanted to not only have the knowledge to save lives, but to also teach others to safely do the same.
In his spare time he enjoys drawing and painting, spending time with his friends and family, and of course anything Nintendo or anime related. Although young, Marcus is a force to be reckoned with. He sees the world through a unique lens and uses his compassion, open-mindedness and unconditional love to help shape a better reality for those around him and those in his community.
